This months block is:
6" paper pieced Cactus Block

This a 6.0" block finished size (6½" Unfinished).  This paper piecing block is a made up of 3 separate units, which are then sewn together.  One note, the paper piecing pattern is in a PDF format to aid you in printing the block patterns correctly sized.  In order to read and print the patterns you will need Adode Reader.  If you don't have it on your system you may download it from: www.adobe.com  To get the paper piecing pattern click here:  Cactus.PDF

How it looks & how to piece:

1. Print the pattern from the PDF file.
2. Cut the pattern apart on the dotted lines.
3. Sew in the order indicated on the pattern.
4. Sew the sections together A to B, and AB to C.
5. You should now have a 6" finished or 6½" unfinished block.
