An Art Deco quilt, was not designed at the computer. Not
being a large quilt, it was executed in a week and a half for competition at an Art Center
in Palm Beach FL. It is machine appliquéd with a satin stitch and machine quilted with
fabrics of cotton, satin and lame. It took Best of Show.

Victorian Delight©

Rita says "The quilt is called "Victorian Delight©" and was
designed after seeing some antique lace. It was designed on the computer. Designing with a
computer is the most fun one can have seeing the quilt before one starts to sew it."
Rita owns several of the quilt design programs and Corel Draw and uses all to design her
quilts. The quilt she working on now -"It began with Eve-or We Are Connected by One
Rib" was done on Corel. Rita says "One can never have enough resources!"

Osceola Revisited

permanent collection in The Museum of Florida History in Tallahassee, FL., I decided to
make another one. This one was made 10 Yrs later after the original. It is machine
appliquéd and quilted. "
